Château Siran is owned by the same family since 1859. Edouard Miailhe is the fifth generation, and took over the family business in 2007. The wines of Siran are distinctively great wines. Saint-Jacques de Siran is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, this wine is made of grapes originated on the border of Margaux, therfore it is classified as Bordeaux Superieur.
Through the centuries, the river Garonne’s alluvial flow has layered the gravelly soil thereat with deposits of clay, creating a perfect combination for producing quality wines.
This family owned Château always strive to produce powerful and fine, with exceptional terroir and the perfect balance between tannins, fruit and acidity. This complex terroir yields well-structured and rich wines.
