Yamazakura 963 21 Year Old has a strong bubble pop (or some might say wax oak)! After breath for awhile it become quite floral, some pear, green apple, white wood, nutmeg. It’s fruity with oaky floral. Quite sweet, with some dark chocolate with some nutmeg behind. followed by a medium long, with some oakiness finish.
It is Nutty, rich and oily. There are notes of dried peels, ginger, linseed and cut fruits including a touch of melon, followed by with hints of marzipan, dried fruits and a hint of Sherry. You turn it over in your mouth forever. Long and creamy with custard and spice finish.
