This complex terroir yields well-structured and rich wines. this wine is perfected by Christian Moueix, the superb wine maker behind Château Pétrus and a previous Decanter’s ‘Man of the Year’. This claret is simply exceptional, it’s rich on fruit with fine and velvety tannins.
Soft fruity notes, a lovely tobacco and leather hint and elegant tannins make this wine a great accompaniment for beef, steaks, roasted poultry dishes and matured cheeses.

Château Chantalouette Pomerol AOC 2018 was aged for 18 months in oak for extra complexity and bottled with only a light filtration to preserve its rich texture. Perfect pair to roast red meats, a rich venison or beef stew or mature Cheddar. To enjoy at its best, decant a couple of hours before serving to allow it to open up and release it’s magnificent complexity.
