Description

Nostros, Merlot Gran Reserva, is bright red black in colour. Delicate and fruity, with notes of prune, dried cherry, figs, and dried peach. Lovely grassy character, medium body, deliciously velvety, and delicate without aggressive or dry tannins. A rich, tasty, juicy wine with outstandingly balanced oak. Enticing finish.

The cooling influences and diurnal temperature difference enable the  slow ripening of the grapes so that the grapes develop maximum flavour and complexity.

Casablanca is famously known for its cool climate, making it of the premium region for high quality Sauvignon Blanc, chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Indómita wines from Casablanca is  excellent. the produce lively, fruity and expressive wines that reflect perfectly the region terroir.

The cooler climate in Casablanca has predominantly enhanced the notoriety white wines, leading to great innovation and experiments from skilled winemakers in the region.  However  more recently there also some great quality red wines.

The  warmer climate in Maipo Valley offers perfect conditions for  Cabernet Sauvignon  Merlot and Carménère.

Maipo Valley climate with  the warm and sunny summers are and a cooling breeze and cold nights are perfect conditions for the grapes to ripe slowing and develop complex flours and balanced pH, acidity and residual sugar.

The grapes are carefully selected and undergo a gentle pressing to maintain the aromatic characters. The wine is then fermented in a stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature between 25 – 28ºC . After the  fermentation process, which takes around 4 weeks before the wine is racked. Aged for 10 months in French and American oak. It constantly monitored to ensure the wine maintain its freshness fruit driven and complexity.
